Coached by the artists of Nou&Herkauw a group of children develops a story about a journey in a world full of sounds.
When there is a storyline and characters, the next step is to develop the scenes in an audiovisual way. One group creates the visual scenes by drawing, cutting, glueing, and so on. The other group develops the sound effects and dialogues. Subsequently the movie will be recorded scene by scene, by means of live animation and performing the sound, music and texts live. By collaborating en listening and watching each other closely, children learn how to co-create and transform their ideas, in an intuitive way, into an audiovisual story. Watch all movies here. This workshop is co-developed by Natasha Taylor and Bert Scholten.
