This year for the third time Nou&Herkauw was present at the Ajyal Youth Film Festival in Doha. Aside this festival N&H represented the Doha Film Institute at the two-week celebration of the National Day. On the Ajyal Youth Film Festival we showed and carried out our newly developed film workshop King Kong vs 120 Years of Cinema. Freshly developed from the Giant Mini Media Lab.
Nou&Herkauw shows 3 installations on Media Art Festival in Leeuwarden. Dancing Puppets, MutantMe 2.0 en de 3D Stop-motion Studio.

At the Cinekid Festival in Amsterdam 2015 Nou&Herkauw carried out the Cinekid installatie/workshop VR Tropolis. Participants could craft their own cardboard house, airplane, or building and let it be scanned by a railway 3D scanner. Finally the digital craftwork was added to a virtual mini world were you could walk around with your self build DIY VR glasses.
During the Cinekid Festival 2015 in Groningen we introduced our brand new 3D Stop-motion animation sets. With stereoscopic camera’s and newly developed stopmotion software, participants can create animated shorts that can be viewed with special 3D glasses. The created movies can be watched on our Nou&Herkauw YouTube channel.
