This year again a great edition. Nou&Herkauw showed 4 installations. Dancing Puppets, Mutant Me, Dry Feet and the brand new GiantMiniMediaLab movie: GigaRobo vs MegaMonster. The long expected sequel! Check out the one of the movies and photo’s below!
Commissioned by Kunst&Cultuur Drenthe Nou&Herkauw developed an interactive installation were children from 4 different European cities could build a new virtual city. On locations in the cities Assen(NL), Riga(LV), Berlin(GE), and San Sebastian(SP) participants crafted their houses out of cardboard, paper, and paint. These new creations were scannend by a 3D scanner and a virtual version was added to the virtual city. With a gamepad the participant could walk around to find a spot for her/his house. Throughout a month slowly a new virtual European city emerged.

This year on Noorderzon we showed our interactive intstallation ‘Mutant Me’ and the ‘Image Experiment Tent’. In the Image Experiment Tent participants could do several visual physics experiments, record them and play the videoclips live with vj tools. Experiments like slowmotion recordings of breaking porcelain, or making salt crystals move on te vibrations of music and see the result under a microscope camera.
